How can I stay in Cheap Hotels and Free Hotels?

Become a Travel Offers Member today! Membership entitles you to stay for free in Hotels across Europe, the UK and Ireland paying only for your Dinner and Breakfast.

How does it work?

When you become a Travel Offers Member you will receive a personalised Privilege Hotel Pass and, if you take up either of our UK Hotel Offers, a personal copy of our Free Hotel Rooms Directory. Our Directory provides full colour details of all our Free Hotels including prices, locations and facilities.

As a Travel Offers Member, you can stay at any of our Free Hotels and you only pay an agreed minimum price for Dinner and Breakfast. Membership and Hotel stays are based on two people sharing and you can book as often as you like throughout your Membership period.

For European Hotels you use your membership number to make bookings and to request the 'Holiday Plus Hotel Voucher' for the Hotel at which you wish to stay.

The Holiday Plus Hotel Voucher is then emailed to you. You must take the voucher with you as it is used to identify you and confirm the price you pay.
The Hotel Voucher is for two adults sharing a standard room.

If you do not have your Hotel Voucher when you arrive at the Hotel you will pay the full price of the Hotel.

What are the Free Hotels like?

Almost all our Free Hotels are privately owned or part of small Hotel groups. Hotels include fine country houses, manor houses and rural retreats. Most are managed by their owners and as such you will enjoy traditional and attentive personal service. If you are looking for the "corporate box" style of Hotel then Free Hotel Rooms Membership is probably not for you. If on the other hand you enjoy individual Hotels, in beautiful locations throughout the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland, this is for you.

Where are the Hotels?

We have over 1,300 hotels throughout Europe which can be viewed through our website. What about City Centre Hotels?

How much do I have to pay for Dinner and Breakfast?

As a Travel Offers Member, you stay at Hotels for free paying only for your Dinner and Breakfast. The prices range from as low as €20 up to €70 per person per night. Your room is free. This means you can enjoy a Membership that fits your personal budget and personal preference. The majority of our hotels range between €35 and €45 per person per night. This set amount is agreed with the Hotel and is printed on the Hotel Information Page.

With the UK Hotel Offers we print details of how much you will pay for your food in our directories so you know upfront, before you travel, how much you are paying.

Prices for Dinner and Breakfast are added together and are printed as an amount per person. You can pay as little as £21 per person per night up to £60 per person per night, dependant on the Hotel you choose. At the top end of the price range, you will be staying at luxury Hotels that boast AA Rosettes for their fine dining, such as the Burleigh Court Hotel in Gloucestershire which has been awarded two AA Rosettes.

The majority of our 330 Hotels are in the price range of £35 to £45 per person per night. All prices are based on the standard menus provided to us by the Hotels.

You know exactly how much you will be paying before you stay and you can enjoy a Membership that fits your personal budget and preferences.

What else do I have to pay?

Your only commitment in booking a free Hotel stay is to pay the cost of the Dinner and Breakfast at the agreed published rate. You will pay nothing for your room.

This price is based on 2 adults sharing a standard room. Upgraded or superior rooms may be available at an additional cost. Bar bills and room service are not covered by the price of your Dinner and Breakfast and such extras will be charged upon your departure from the Hotel.
To stay at Hotels for free you must present your Privilege Hotel Pass at the Hotel. Without this you will be charged the full price.

Are there any restrictions?

Bank Holiday dates are generally excluded, quite simply because our Free Hotels have no need to give away free rooms at these times of the year. Some Hotels will have additional restrictions which are clearly published in your Free Hotel Rooms Directory, for example a minimum stay of 2 nights may apply to some Hotels.The majority of our Hotels have no restrictions.

Is Membership just for couples?

No, membership is based on two adults sharing either a double or a twin room. Your Privilege Hotel Pass is printed with your name and you are free to travel with whomever you wish, provided that you share a room and each pay the amount stated for Dinner and Breakfast. We have many Members who travel with other relatives and friends.

What about my children?

Membership is based on two adults sharing. Children may be accepted but this is at the discretion of the individual Hotel and should be checked at the time of booking. The Travel Offers Membership Team cannot be held responsible if children are not accepted. Hotels may accept children at their discretion and may charge a supplement.

I am a single traveller, can I be a Member?

Travel Offers Membership is based on two people sharing, so generally speaking Membership does not work for single travellers. That said, we do know that some Hotels may accept single travellers at the agreed price for Dinner and Breakfast, or with a small supplement. This is at the Hotel's discretion.

I need Hotel rooms with disabled access / a Hotel that will accept pets / a Hotel that will cater for special diets. Is this possible?

The majority of our Free Hotels provide options such as disabled access, vegetarian and special diets and many Hotels allow pets to stay. In our latest directory, Hotels with these features are clearly listed. You can discuss your requirements with the Hotels directly upon booking. Some supplements may apply for pets.

How do I make a booking?

You book your Hotel reservations directly with the Hotel. However, the Travel Offers Membership Team is available to assist you with any queries or difficulties. For more details click here to learn how to book free Hotel Rooms in Europe

Do I have to eat in the Hotel?

The price you pay is for your Dinner and Breakfast. If you choose not to eat these meals at the Hotel, you will still be charged the agreed set amount.

I have not received my confirmation email from the hotel what should I do?

If you do not receive the confirmation email from your chosen Hotel within 24 hours of completing the booking request please contact the Hotel directly, either by email or telephone. Hotel contact details can be found on the Hotel Information web pages.

When can I make bookings?

Booking requests can be made up to six weeks prior to the arrival date. However if you wish to book other dates, many Hotels may be willing to accept such bookings, subject to availability. You should make the request to the Hotel directly via email or telephone. Contact details can be found on the Hotel information pages.
 

Why does the Hotel not confirm my requested dates?

Each hotel will experience a period of high demand at specific times of the year. All bookings are subject to availability at the requested Hotel. We suggest you contact the Hotel directly asking which alternative dates are available or, search for alternative accommodation.
 

What happens to my details?

We do not share your details to any other companies other than to process your Membership and book the Hotels online.
 

Who publishes the Free Hotel Rooms Europe programme?

Free Hotel Rooms Europe uses The Holiday Plus Voucher provided by Connex Touristikpromotion & Co KG, which was established in 1986 and operates in 11 European countries

Can I purchase a Free Hotel Membership directly through the local Connex Branch?

You can only purchase a Membership through Travel Offers.
